Industrial Hygiene

EarthCon personnel are experienced and knowledgeable in performing inspections, surveys, and assessments for asbestos-containing materials, lead-based paint, and other industrial hygiene issues. Our trained staff routinely provides abatement design services, as well as air monitoring services during the abatement process. Our personnel have performed asbestos/lead-based paint surveys related to demolition / renovation activities for right-of-way (ROW) acquisitions for highway construction projects, property transfers, Phase I Environmental Site Assessments, and numerous other projects. EarthCon provides the following industrial hygiene services:

Indoor Air Quality (IAQ) Fungi / Mold Evaluations

EarthCon provides experienced and knowledgeable personnel that perform residential, commercial, and industrial indoor air quality (IAQ) studies including fungi / mold evaluations. Detection and identification of mold is only a part of this service. A full structure assessment in regard to the water tightness of the building’s envelope is paramount, as mold requires elevated moisture levels to become viable. EarthCon provides the following services related to fungi / mold evaluations:

• Fungi / mold testing (non-viable and viable testing);
• Moisture evaluations;
• Building envelope evaluations; and
• Fungi / mold abatement design (Plans and Specifications) for remediation.
