EarthCon provides permit application assistance to clients for either a General Permit (Nationwide or Regional General) for proposed activities which impact wetlands and other jurisdictional waters of the United States or an Individual Permit for proposed activities which exceed the limitations of the Nationwide or Regional General Permits. EarthCon can prepare Individual Permits that may involve agency and/or public review, and may require the preparation of an Environmental Impact Statement (EIS), Environmental Assessment (EA), and/or HEC-RAS hydraulic analysis in order to fulfill NEPA/FERC requirements for our clients.

EarthCon personnel routinely conduct wetland determinations and delineation surveys. These include the identification of positive indicators of hydric soils, the presence of hydrophytic vegetation, and wetland hydrologic indicators necessary to identify the presence of potentially jurisdictional wetlands. Wetland surveys are performed in accordance with the methods and technical procedures established by the Corps of Engineers Wetlands Delineation Manual, Technical Report Y-87-1, US Army Engineer Waterways Experiment Station, Vicksburg, Mississippi (January 1987).

EarthCon personnel routinely collect field data, prepare detailed findings reports, determine regulatory permitting requirements, provide regulatory agency interface, recommend compensatory mitigation options, estimate mitigation costs, and finally prepare and execute mitigation plans. Our professionally trained and experienced professionals keep the project’s best interest in mind while providing the most cost effective and efficient options and environmental reporting and permitting.
